"We had two bags of grass, seventy-five pellets of mescaline, five sheets of high-powered blotter acid, a salt shaker half full of cocaine and a whole galaxy of multicolored uppers, downers, screamers, laughers...also a quart of tequila, a quart of rum, a case of budweiser, a pint of raw ether, and two dozen amyls...but the only thing that worried me was the ether. There was nothing in the world more helpless and irresponsible than a man in the depths of an ether binge..."

she only sleeps when it's raining

Photos are from a shoot that I did with a friend recently - she really knows how to time things precisely (something that I could never do). We enjoyed a day of questionable weather prancing around in puddles as deep as miniature rivers. The first shot was taken in the fountain of some christian church which we hastily trespassed into, all the while praying that none of the holy people would see us being..unholy. The whole mood was dark, delicate and expertly blurred, which made for some truly diabolically brilliant photographs. Rain makes everything more interesting. It was well worth the endless hours of shivering...and strange looks on the faces of passersby. I love doing crazy things in public.

This thursday my journey begins (2 more days!!). New York City get ready, because I certainly am ready for the madness that awaits me.
